Short Story.
Getting settled into a new school is never easy. Trust me I know, I've been to so many different schools over the years and it's become much harder to fit into a new school. For me getting settled usually revolves around meeting both new and old students. Start with the new students first because they can relate to you easily, before you start getting acquainted with the veterans in your class. That doesn't mean it's easy though, oh no far from it my friends. In fact in most cases making friends in a new school is the hardest part of getting settled. You usually don't know much of the person and you end up wondering if being friends with that person is a good idea or not because you never know if he/she might be mean or rude to you in the future. So like I said making new friends is the hardest part of starting in new school.
When I first started I had some trouble communicating with my classmates. This was one of my first conversations:
Again, one my first day of school I met Alex. She had long ginger hair and was wearing a grey long sleeve and jeans and converse. She had palish skin and blue eyes. I smiled and introduced my self.

When I first started I had some trouble communicating with my classmates. This was one of my first conversations:
- “Hi. My name's Adnan”.
- “Oh, Hi. My name's Maro. Is this your first time in London?”
- I shook my head. “No this is actually the second time I've moved here. I actually live really close. Right down on St. John's Wood Road”.
- He nodded. “That's cool”.
Again, one my first day of school I met Alex. She had long ginger hair and was wearing a grey long sleeve and jeans and converse. She had palish skin and blue eyes. I smiled and introduced my self.
- “Hi. I'm Andan”. I said smiling a little bit.
- She turned her head and smiled. “Uh, hey there, I'm Alex”. She said smiling.
- I nodded and turned my self fully towards her. “So Alex. First time in London”? I asked.
- She nodded. “Yeah I just moved here from Washington D.C.”I was surprised, because I've always wanted to visit D.C.
- “Cool. I just moved here from Connecticut, down in West-Port”. She nodded her head.
- “So is this your first time in London as well”? She asked. I shook my head smiling slightly.
- “Not really. I've already lived here at some point so I decided to come back.” I said leaning back in my chair as registration began.

You can make this beautiful ring out of a old book spiral and

These are all of the materials that you will need in order to create it:

3. Nail polish
Step 1: Find an old book that has a spiral or jewellery wire.
Step 2: Find a marker the size of your finger and wrap the wire
around it.
Step 3: Using pens and markers, shape the wire into the shape that you want.
Step 4: Paint over the wire with nail polish to create beautiful colours of designs and make sure to cover the whole circumference.

Movie Review - "22 Jump Street" and "The Hangover"
Let’s have some Movie Talk about: 22 Jump Street” and “The Hangover
In 22 Jump Street two cops named Jenko (Channing Tatum), whose all brawn no brains and his Partner Shmidt (Jonah Hill), no brawn or brains, pose students in order to infiltrate a local university. There task for this mission is to identify the local suppliers and dealers for the newest It drug which has hit the market called "WHYPHY." Along with the dangers of entering a drug ring the two cops will also face challenges to their relationship as the two enter very different social circles whilst undercover as students. Now Thats a brief synopsis of the film “22 Jump Street” which still very recently was in cinemas here in London; it is the continuation of “21 Jump Street”.
“The Hangover” managed to share fundamentally identical story lines throughout all three of its films but somehow still managed to make its mark as the highest grossing comedy franchise of all time. By the looks of things the “Jump Street” franchise is headed down to a very similar path. Despite it's very obvious lack of originality in the plot department this movie had me laughing harder than any comedy in the past 5 years. What I mean by this is that if you found “21 Jump Street” funny, you'll find this one hilarious. As you know from the previous film, you shouldn't be expecting a very sophisticated dark comedy with incredibly dry wit. What you'll get as a complete slapstick comedy made up of Jonah hills endless facial expressions, Cringe worthy awkwardness that'll have you laughing in discomfort and enough explosions and gunfire to make Michael Bay feel right at home. It's safe to say we can be expecting another “Jump Street” film soon and like the ending of this sequel suggests, many many more as well. If you have not seen either of these movies I encourage you to do so very fast because you are missing on, ono a lot of fun and entertainment.

Classy/formal
Who says students can't go to school looking a bit formal! This look is for those who want to look a bit sophisticated, respected yet still flirty and fun! From the royal blue with a touch of gold plate, the colour that splashes onto the blue and yellow polka dotted pants, through the sunny yellow necklace lined top to the slim and chic blazer. Casual It's normal to wake up in the morning and not feel the need to look over the top. Micayla Keiver (MYP5) here has done just that! Spot on by wearing this baby pink easy-breezy beautiful sweater that compliments the maroon coloured jeans that make the cut! With some very cute grey all stars to switch up all of the perfection going on at the top. Fun. "Neon Thursday" is the best way to describe the occasion for these two luminous outfits worn by the two inseparable sisters, Teresa (MYP5) and Jerusa Chimuco (MYP2). From head to toe there's no doubt that these two finally wore their personalities. Get the look: Shoes: limited edition “Nike Air Max” Skirt: Zara Pink shirt: River Island Yellow shirt: Pull and Bear Jump suit/skirt: New Look Fashion Advice and Techniques (Make sure to read about this!): By: Teresa (MYP5) |
Miss Brenda’s outfit of choice is very sophisticated; her outfit is appropriate for a good day at work. Her dress is very lively due to all the patterns and neon colours in between which is a lovely pattern. She wore the dress with black shoes to draw out most of the attention to the dress (which is something you can do when wearing a beautiful dress). Miss Brenda has also added accessories, which is very important in the fashion world, she added a black shiny necklace. Over all she is looking fantastic.
Miss Maria has been looking very vibrant lately at school and she’s been wearing a lot of flower pattern print on her clothes. Her outfit of choice has been classified as VIBRANT SUMMER, which matches her personality. We normally wear clothes according to our personalities (Which is something you can consider in a daily bases). She has worn a floral long dress with a vibrant orange jacket to stand out more, which matches her vibrant orange shoes. Miss Maria has added a light brown belt accessory to pull everything together. Miss Sophie’s outfit is very fun, lively and lovely. Miss Sophie is wearing a cute puffy black skirt, she has also paired it with a hot pink shirt with polka dots and a black collar to match the skirt. (This is something you might want to consider when matching your clothes). She has put her outfit together with basic black pumps. It is very appropriate for the weather; lately it has been warm outside, enjoy the summer as long as you can. Miss Sophie knows how to make her outfits fun and pretty and very appropriate for the London weather. By Jerusa (MYP 2) |
