Nutrition at PGL
Some people in the school think that the food in PGL wasnt nice, and some people think it was. I personally think it was depending on what we had (sometimes nice and sometimes is not).
What we had for:
Breakfast: bacon, scrambled egg, cereal, toast and fruits.
Lunch: chicken nuggets, soup, mashed potato, pasta, and we always had tea or juice.
Diner: many different options

DIY- Do It Yourself
Luggage Tag
These are all of the materials that you will need to make this DIY:
Step 1- Cut two strips of Duct Tape to 4 inches in length.
Step 2 - Take the two strips of duct tape and stick them together, sticky side to sticky side.
Step 3 - Trim off any extra sticky duct tape if needed, if you wish you can trim of the corners or you can just leave it as a rectangular.
Step 4 - Cut out a piece of duct tape in a corresponding color that is 3 inches x 1.25 inches and make sure its a colour that is light enough to see writing on it.
Step 5 - Place it on the tag in the middle, write your name, phone number and/or address on the duct tape with a Sharpie.
Step 6 - Next make a hole using the hole punch in the top of the tag like this.
Step 7 - Attach your ribbon or string like the images below
Step 8 - Tah- Dah you just made your very own luggage tag from scratch.

Sportswear: What more convenient way was there to dress-up for sports at PGL either than this? Paul (MYPP2), wore a blue, black and white colored sports gear that accentuated his brunette hair and hazel brown eyes. (Note clear in the picture) Although under his navy blue silk Nike jacket, that not only bought out his almost tan skin (at the time) but helped keep him cool because of the delicate material. Paul wore a black Nike colored t-shirt inside, also paired it with white Nike shorts and black tights under for extra protection, followed by his light blue trainers from the mystery store. Overall, Paul's outfit appeared to be one of the most comfortable sportsmen outfits, as well as the hit wear for a Nikes advertisement! Arthus (MYP 3), wore a neon greenish yellow and black outfit from head to toe, which I wonder why made him stand out from the crowd. He cooperated his entire outfit with a greenish yellow neon long sleeve silk shirt, that showed off his broad shoulders, alongside black silk shorts under his black silk shorts for extra protection, followed by his black and greenish yellow trainers that looked ready for the adventures PGL had in store. Overall, I am pleased to say that Arthus looked well in shape contrasting such a dark color as black with spontaneous neon, which sealed the deal for his "ready for a marathon look". Twining: On Wednesday 8th October 2014, Teresa and Yaqut , (both in MYP5), wore matching clothes, which I prefer saying, “twining”. In remembrance of the spectacularly fun adventure they had at PGL they decided to do a flashback and dress themselves the way they did at one of the days at PGL. They wore matching grey leather strapped trousers that made them look comfortably relaxed, along with their own style shoes that showed off a bit of their individual sense of style and of course the trending I (heart) PGL sweaters, that pulled it all together. It’s safe to say that it looks like the girls did enjoy PGL to its fullest. |
Ms. Lauren Looks well put together in a Casual suitable way for PGL. She wore a green jacket and paired it with a denim blue shirt, black casual pants to bring the attention to her grey sneakers with bright purple laces. Ms. Lauren Made her outfit much more exciting by pairing it with accessories such as these beautiful sunglasses for a sunny day in Lidington but cool weather and her bright yellow scarf with blue detailing to protect herself from the cool weather. This PGL staff member is wearing the basic PGL uniform, which is a blue jacket with the PGL logo on it and blue shorts as well. Although he has jazzed his uniform up with these cute minion socks which grabs a lot of attention and love and he put his whole outfit with brown out door trainers. -Jerusa (MYP 2) |
My Personal PGL experience
Last week when we went to PGL it was AWESOME! Honestly, my favourite part was the campfire due to the environment and how much fun I had. Some people were playing guitar and others were singing. This experience really brought all of us more together.
After this event, we played pop songs.
I think the Giant swing was most people’s favourite. I also enjoyed abseiling and aeroball
Overall the activities were enjoyable
