Bath bombs.
Everyone enjoys a relaxing soak in the tub sometimes, especially if there’s bath bombs involved! Companies like LUSH and Bomb Cosmetics are well known for selling theirs, but why not try and make your own? A simple DIY courtesy of somethingturquoise.com gives easy to follow, step-by-step instructions on how to make bath time more enjoyable, without spending tons of money. All you need is; a measuring cup, bowl, whisk, baking soda, citric acid, witch hazel, fragrance oil, water free colorant, pipettes, a mini-muffin pan and wax paper. This DIY is great because it allows you to personalize and take pride in your own bath bombs, by varying the amounts of fragrance oil and colour. By: Micayla (MYP5) |
Poetry
She Has Exploded (it ain’t no metaphor)
Metaphors - we don’t like studying them and we can’t let ourselves to see them everywhere in literature. Sometimes when someone says ‘She has exploded’ it just means she died, not that she, I don’t know, has exploded with joy or something. That’s what this poem signify:
Metaphors - we don’t like studying them and we can’t let ourselves to see them everywhere in literature. Sometimes when someone says ‘She has exploded’ it just means she died, not that she, I don’t know, has exploded with joy or something. That’s what this poem signify:
She has exploded
It ain’t no metaphor Her pretty pretty face Was all over the place My little baby has exploded |
She has exploded
I’m serious now First she opened her heart Then she opened her guts My little baby has exploded |
I’m crying in blood
Holding her left arm Because couldn’t find another one Even though it’s somewhere around My little baby has exploded And it’s sad, it makes me cry |
She has exploded
She really died Stepped on an evil mine Then she blew up fine My little baby has exploded It was a mine, could have been a gun With metaphors there’s much more fun! |
